EstimateOne Evolves: Say Hello to E1

15 October

Today marks a day that has been a long time in the making. Since we first entered the scene almost 15 years ago, people quickly started to refer to us as E1.

With some self reflection, and as we started to sell our offerings to overseas markets, we became more and more aware just how much the name EstimateOne didn’t fit us overall.

Without wanting to reinvent the wheel, and a nod to the people like yourselves who’ve gotten us to where we are today, we are happy to announce the latest evolution of our brand – E1.

After all, we’re just looking at an evolution here – not a revolution!

Why are we doing this?

Two things became pretty obvious when we began this process of reflection,

  • We no longer just help Estimators
  • We help Subbies and Suppliers with more than just estimates

Over the last 15 years, we have become Australia’s largest network of commercial construction professionals. As our product evolves, we’re introducing more opportunities for connections to be made across the industry.

Ultimately, we wanted to pay homage to the past, while adopting a name that can move with us while we bring our ambitious industry vision to market.

What is this ambitious industry vision?

We believe that a fairer industry involves pricing decisions based on more than just price.

What does this mean? You need more than dollars and sense to decide who to work with, at what price. You need rich information on the project and the organisations pricing it. You also need to be able to execute fast.

For Subbies and Suppliers, this means targeting the best projects, and differentiating on capabilities and experience, not just price.

For Builders, this means making informed pricing decisions, drawing on the largest network of vendors, with the most comprehensive, up-to-date information on quality, price and availability.

In the pre-construct phase of a commercial project, the three biggest decisions to make are around project, party and price. E1 strives to give you all the information you need, on all three aspects, so your business can make better decisions.

So what’s changing?

To be blunt, the only things changing in your day-to-day experience with E1 are our name and logo.

The most obvious change will be our logo, which will be appearing across all our platforms and communications. Our logo represents a set of construction documents and the open hinge at the bottom represents the opening of new communication avenues when using E1 for projects.

The visuals are to represent loosely a set of construction documents, with an open hinge at the bottom to represent the communication corridors we are opening up.

Further to the logo, we will eventually migrate to the URL e1.network. No need to worry, we will give you plenty of notice and ensure we have ample redirects in place so you will always be able to find us.

E1 isn’t just a rebrand; it’s a revolution! We’re the same trusty team, just with more fire in our belly to innovate, inspire, and tackle the challenges of the modern construction world.

Thanks for sticking with us. Your enthusiasm fuels our creative engines, and we can’t wait to embark on this thrilling ride with you. Let’s build something great together – welcome to E1!
