Alex is the General Manager for E1’s Subbie Audience, where he leads product, pricing, go-to-market and growth strategy. With over 15 years of experience across construction, compliance and SaaS, he combines deep industry knowledge with a strong track record in building and scaling ventures.
Alex began his career managing complex refurbishments in London before founding HANDS HQ, a safety documentation platform used by over 2,000 contractors. After a successful exit, he joined BCG X as a Venture Architect, launching new businesses for government agencies and ASX-listed corporates.
At E1, Alex first led the Builder Audience before taking over the Subbie business, where he’s responsible for commercial performance and long-term growth. He’s passionate about simplifying the way construction businesses work and regularly supports early-stage founders. On weekends, he’s usually out on a road trip through regional NSW with a history podcast queued up.
